I wonder if Obamas starvation plan will kick people into gear. Maybe a little hunger might motivate folks? How about standing in the vaccination lines for ten hours to get a stale loaf of bread or some moldy cheese, problem ,reaction, solution as they loot the banks 8.5 trillion $ in 6 weeks

Why can’t you be the president?

  4. CZARVII says:

I find it very funny when people ask you if you are buying gold…lol
The lack of understanding of what real people are going through doesnt even begin to make sence to this people.
Buying gold???? how about do you have a loaf of bread for your kids to eat tomorrow???
    How about?:how can I help???

  5. SeattleBeaver says:

Informative to a left coaster who considers anything over the Rockies ‘East Coast’. Hang tight and be prepared for much, much worse (unfortunately). We’re all in this together. Keep up the good work.

I’ve been trying to mention this to folks. 10-13 years ago, the whole of Asia had it’s depression. 20 years ago, the West had it, and there were (and have been since) parts of America that became like the third world and never recovered. Every 10 years one hemisphere takes the brunt while the other holds on. It’s a cyclical pattern.

china has cut jobs due to the fact america not buying it’s products for christmas , putting the comunnist party over there under strian since they rely on american buying it’s products to fund the party ,

    Hi-
I’m from Japan, and that doesn’t mean that I am 100% right because of my nationality… but.. knowing this country very well.. The Japanese will never sell their US bonds, until other countries do. It is just one guy in a credit agency proposing the government do so.. but it’ll never happen. One of the prime ministers a while ago during the worst times of the Japanese economy a decade ago proposed to sell the US bonds, and the other politicians shut him down so quickly, and he was impeached

    Great post and analysis

  14. centervilletn says:

Detroit is like any old city built on heavy industry…once the industrial base is gone all that is left are the folks who have no other place to go..so they survive how ever they can…eventually they know no other way except to exploit others…

my advice is not to worry about the gun so much as to figure out a way out of the cities…it is likely you only need to go an hour away from most cities…the criminals wont venture that far out…they will stay where they “know how to survive”

  15. tyronebiggums3 says:

That’s a good one; added. I wonder what the outcome of the G20 meeting will be in ‘09.

  16. DEMCAD says:

If I had a few grand, I would spend it on food, guns and ammo.

  17. DEMCAD says:

    I think it’s at least 35%

  18. skyding8962 says:

So you wouldn’t buy a house for a few grand centerville in detroit? Even if it’s all a person could afford?

  19. carlfinkle says:

You might want to add Russia and China announcing they no consider the US dollar to be the worlds reserve currency.

  20. centervilletn says:

ive been there a few times…and to put it in a vivid understandable way…if God was going to put an Enima in the Earth…he’d stick it in Detroit…its all Cleveland wanted to be but just couldnt…Thing is the folks there that i met were decent folks…but there is a very SICK element there that has poisoned the place sure as if it were chernobil

  21. BlackMask2012 says:

    Merry Christmas bro,

Wish my city homes were at that price.

  22. centervilletn says:

“come to Detroit, Beruit by the Lake, why spend your money flying to the middle east whey all you have to do is drive up I-75? Muggings on every street corner! Delapidated buildings and abandoned cars! Squaller and depravity! All this and much much more! Stay at one of our finest homeless shelters! Dine at one of our Fine Soup Kitchens!

  23. centervilletn says:

now if you had been a blond asian lesbian…hubba hubba…

  24. centervilletn says:

how would debt forgiveness by foriegn holders help/hurt america?…seems that if we could get countries to forgive a percentage of our debt that would support the dollar…

I agree that detroit’s unemployment rate must be closer to 40 percent…the decline in property values its too great to indicate just 21 percent are unemployed…
